Yet again I'm amazed. Such solid arrangement and instrumentation. Seriously well done.

I'm not the one scoring your piece, but really nicely done. Was a very pleasant listen, great arrangement and instrumentation. Keep it up and good luck.

Hey, Lockyn! Thanks a BUNCH for the kind words and the follow, it means a lot coming from you! :D

I can't even imagine how much better this would have sounded if you had recorded each instrument on its own track and arranged it within a DAW...

verbicidemusic responds:

Funny thing is, I did lol. The problem is, I literally only have one mic which I run through a USB adapter directly into my laptop. I don't have an interface or anything so its being run straight into the laptop. Plus, I lack a full set of drum mics, whereas all professional drums are recorded with all parts of the drums miced up. The DAW I used was Mixcraft 7 home studio. I felt I did the best with what I had, and judging by your response, the song was at least good, save for the lo-fi recording. So thanks a lot man, I appreciate it :D

Smoothly done. Keep it up and good luck.

I'm not your dad unfortunately :(

Really solid chord work and melodic work. Balanced mix and transitions were nice, but I would have liked stronger bass with the kick at the drop especially for big room house styled tracks like this. Keep it up and good luck.

UbiMusic responds:

Well that's unfortunate, I'll keep trying to find my dad. Thx for the feedback tho

Little rough in terms of composition and arrangement here and there, but mixing and instrumentation is solid. Transitions could use a little polish. I love those off beats that are slightly delayed - very very nice touch. Great balance overall, was a very pleasant listening experience. Keep it up, and good luck. Cheers

Just thought I'd pop by and say that you've done a really solid job composing and playing this. However, I will say that it requires a certain amount of guitar technique knowledge and understanding in addition to music theory knowledge/understanding to fully appreciate this - as such, you've got some balls submitting something like this. Keep it up, and best of luck to you.

Thanks for the positive review! This is by far the closest things to a 'proper' piece of classical music I've ever uploaded to Newgrounds... So I hope it makes it through to the next round, I have something seriously riffy for that :D

I've popper up a score and a video to a tremolo piece so people can understand what I am doing more clearly. Hopefully that will help :)
