So yeah. It's apparently a really rare fracture - only 0.5% of all foot fractures. It's the bone between your foot bones and your leg bones, the tibia and fibula. Going into surgery soon to realign the talus fragments - recovery time is around a year to reattain full range of movement.
Just making this post to update you guys on yet another reason I haven't been posting anything. xD At this point, I'm just hoping I regain use of my left ankle - and if not, I guess you guys get much more music lots faster LOL
Only one thought: I'm never going downhill longboarding again. >__<

Woah, I'm so sorry for you, man. I really hope the surgery goes well. If it makes you feel better, Ben Okri says "the most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love and to be greater than our suffering." You've already got the creating one down at the very least, so I'm sure you'll find a way to keep moving on with your life, Kyle. :) Btw, I don't know how superstitious you are, but may I ask what your zodiac sign is? If you don't know, you can just tell me your birth date and I'll figure it out for you. I sometimes find that horoscopes, although they're basically randomized proverbs that are semi-relevant to all people, can be inspirational in times of crisis. Maybe I'm blowing this thing out of proportion - I don't know whether you play any sports or just how much being physically active means to you - but I'm sure you'll get through this, Kyle, and I just wanted to let you know I support you! ;D

Thanks so much my friend. I really appreciate your kind words and thoughtful response - thanks for dropping by! I have no idea what my zodiac sign is, but my birthday is 11/22 (today!). Haha, I do really value being physically active, but I'll get past this injury :) Thanks again, and I really value your support! You're awesome dude ^__^
